You may submit your application in person, online, or by mail. To gain access to the portal, a member portal link must be requested from the Social Services staff first. In order to successfully login you must have already created a login username and password.

Mission Statement
The Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma Social Services Department is committed to providing leadership in identifying unmet needs and working to provide appropriate programs and services, and dedicated to the delivery of services in a professional manner that respects the dignity of all Native Americans we serve. We will work in partnership among other tribal programs and federal agencies to reduce inequalities, improve well-being, promote individual independence and enrich Native Americans’ lives through learning and tribal culture.

Service Area: Kickapoo jurisdiction & beyond Kickapoo jurisdiction
Eligible applicants may apply for assistance up to three (3) times a fiscal year, only once during a quarter to assist with utilities.

Service Area: Kickapoo jurisdiction
Tribal members enrolled in a federally recognized tribe who reside within the KTO jurisdiction can submit an application if temporary unemployed, unemployed due to medical reasons, but still awaiting on disability or not have sufficient resources to meet the essential needs of food, clothing, shelter and utilities can receive assistance until needs are achieved. Program is income based.

Service Area: Kickapoo jurisdiction & 15 miles beyond Kickapoo jurisdiction
Low-income applicants enrolled in a federally recognized tribe and reside within the original boundaries of the Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma or must be enrolled in the Kickapoo tribe of Oklahoma and reside within the state of Oklahoma. Applicants may apply once during the (Winter & Summer) seasons to assist with energy/heating utilities. This program is federally funded and all federal income guidelines must be met.

Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma enrolled tribal members who are enrolled in Head start (Age 3) – 12th Grades must have a parent/caseworker apply for assistance with school clothing, shoes and/or uniforms ONLY.

The program establishes protection from abuse, neglect, and exploitation from themselves or family members for the vulnerable adults of the Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma.
What is a vulnerable adult?
A vulnerable adult is an adult who has the inability to sufficiently understand, communicate physical illness, inability, or mental illness.
These adults are placed by the Tribal Court in the tribe’s custody and given to the Adult Protective Services Caseworker for protection.
