  • Hiring the most qualified employees by: pre-planning staffing needs, ensuring an effective internal interview process, increasing business visibility in the employment marketplace, identifying the best and most cost effective recruitment sources, and conducting through reference checks.

  • Retaining our valued employees by: assuring effective leadership qualities in our directors, furnishing interpersonal and career development training and coaching, conducting exit interviews.

► HIRING PROCEDURE

Vacant position(s) or new position(s) will require an Employment Requisition to be completed by the department director and submitted to Human Resources.

  • Employment Requisition approval by Executive Director, Human Resources will post the vacancy in-house for five (5) working days and five (5) working days after for outside employment.

  • Closing of the vacancy, human resources will set up interviews of qualified applicants and conduct interviews with the Director.

  • Selection of qualified applicants will be offered the job and denial letters will be sent to other applicants.

  • Human Resources will make arrangements for new-hire orientation and forms to be signed and completed
