  • Our Head Start uses The Creative Curriculum for Preschool, an award-winning research- based curriculum featuring exploration and discovery as a way of learning and enabling children to develop confidence, creativity, and critical thinking skills. Creative Curriculum for Preschool is based on 38 objectives for development and learning. These objectives are fully aligned with the Head Start Child Development and Early Learning Framework and Oklahoma State Early Learning Standards.

  • Our Head Start assesses using Teaching Strategies GOLD, an ongoing observation tool that assesses children from birth through kindergarten. Teaching Strategies GOLD uses 38 research-based objectives that include predictors of school success and aligns with Oklahoma state early learning guidelines and the Head Start Child Development and Early Learning Framework and truly helps teachers focus on what matters most for school readiness.

  • Children with Special Needs.

  • Native American Children.

  • Low-Income Families.

Enrollment:

  • Accept Year-Round

  • Open to All

  • Must be three (3) or older by September 1st of each calendar year
